Let’s eat the turkey in my big, brown shoe. Oh, how I love that song! On a more serious note, here’s the short list of what I’m (incredibly) thankful for:
- My Grandmother. Quite simply, she’s my rock. I wouldn’t be half the person I am today without having her as a role model and feeling her love each & every day.
- My siblings. We’ve had our share of ups and downs, but at the end of the day, We are Family!
- My boyfriend. He’s funny, intelligent, supportive, and he’ll happily dance around the kitchen with me while we’re cooking–need I say more?
- My home. I’ve come so far in my financial journey, and I am immensely proud to be a homeowner.
- My friends. I’m much more a quality over quantity person when it comes to friendships, and I am blessed to have a variety of friends who are incredible.
- Stable employment. I love the company I work for, and I’m so happy to be lucky enough to have a stable paycheck that pays my bills as a product of a job that keeps me busy, intellectually stimulated, and pushes me to learn new things regularly.
- My health. I work hard, and I play hard, so it’s a wonderful feeling to know I have healthy mind & body that allow me to continue to enjoy an active lifestyle.
- My kitties. Even though they destroy things around my house on a daily basis, I love coming home to my two little furballs at the end of a long day.
- Financial stability. Finally having a solid financial foundation allows me to pursue my dreams and turn them into tangible plans for my future.
- This blog and all of you readers. Being able to write about whatever I want is a true blessing. Having people like you who regularly read and comment in such a supportive way is why I continue to do so.
Happy Thanksgiving!
