Turkey for Me, Turkey for You

Let’s eat the turkey in my big, brown shoe. Oh, how I love that song! On a more serious note, here’s the short list of what I’m (incredibly) thankful for:

  1. My Grandmother.  Quite simply, she’s my rock. I wouldn’t be half the person I am today without having her as a role model and feeling her love each & every day.
  2. My siblings. We’ve had our share of ups and downs, but at the end of the day, We are Family!
  3. My boyfriend. He’s funny, intelligent, supportive, and he’ll happily dance around the kitchen with me while we’re cooking–need I say more?
  4. My home. I’ve come so far in my financial journey, and I am immensely proud to be a homeowner.
  5. My friends. I’m much more a quality over quantity person when it comes to friendships, and I am blessed to have a variety of friends who are incredible.
  6. Stable employment. I love the company I work for, and I’m so happy to be lucky enough to have a stable paycheck that pays my bills as a product of a job that keeps me busy, intellectually stimulated, and pushes me to learn new things regularly.
  7. My health. I work hard, and I play hard, so it’s a wonderful feeling to know I have healthy mind & body that allow me to continue to enjoy an active lifestyle.
  8. My kitties. Even though they destroy things around my house on a daily basis, I love coming home to my two little furballs at the end of a long day.
  9. Financial stability. Finally having a solid financial foundation allows me to pursue my dreams and turn them into tangible plans for my future.
  10. This blog and all of you readers. Being able to write about whatever I want is a true blessing. Having people like you who regularly read and comment in such a supportive way is why I continue to do so.
Happy Thanksgiving!
