This weekend was certainly one of the ones where you feel like you blink and it’s gone. I’d like to formally lodge a complaint that tomorrow is Monday already. 

Weekly Miscellaneous:

This past week was a fantastic one–my BF officially moved in on Monday and we’ve spent the last few days reorganizing and doing what feels to me like playing house…haha. This is the first time I’ve lived with anyone I’m dating and it’s been such a refreshing process! One of my favorite parts of it all is leaving the house in the morning for work and knowing that he’s behind making himself at home (he works a lot from home so I’m usually out the door first).

Yesterday was filled with errands for my office renovation. I’m pleased that, thanks to IKEA, I was able to purchase quite a bit of what’s needed for the built-in desk I’ll be assembling this week. Even better was having a gorgeous, warm day today so I could paint the walls with open windows. I’ll be posting before & after photos as well as some DIY posts for the various projects I plan to tackle.

Meal Plan:

My copy of Joy of Cooking finally arrived, so this weeks’ meal planning will revolve around kicking off my 2013 goal of cooking my way through the book.

Sunday: Out to dinner with a friend
Monday: Chicken, Avocado & Tomato soup
Tuesday: Creamed Eggs with Asparagus Tips Cockaigne
Wednesday: Sauteed Chicken Breasts with Mushroom Sauce
Thursday: Orecchiette with Sausage and Broccoli Rabe
Friday: Homemade pizza
Saturday: Dinner out
