What a month! I’m pleased to say that I brought in about $900 extra this month (including $$ given to me for Christmas), so I met all of my financial goals. Exercising fell to the wayside a bit due to weather and scheduling conflicts but overall, a stellar month!
Financial Goals:
- $1,000 extra to mortgage CHECK–sent $1,200 extra
- $800 into retirement accounts CHECK–tucked away $1,000
- $500 into savings CHECK!
- Spend $225 or less on Christmas gifts! CHECK–spent $192.95 total
- $100 extra to student loans CHECK!
- Limit variable spending to $500 CHECK!
- Complete Operation Giving Back CHECK–stay tuned for next week’s update
Household Goals:
- Host a holiday party CHECK!
- Decorate a real tree (and pray my kitties don’t destroy it!) CHECK!
Personal Goals:
- Bike to/from work, weather permitting Biked most days
- Run 3x/week or more Fail
- Enjoy every bit of the holiday season Super CHECK!

PS–I can’t believe how close I am to having a $100K net worth!!!!!!!! Ahhhhh…..$200 to go!
