March Goals

March should be another great month because it’s a triple-paycheck month; one of my favorite kinds! Ideally, the appraisal on my house will come back favorably so I will no longer be putting such large chunks of money towards extra mortgage payments (although I will still send some extra even after the re-fi). Cross your fingers that the appraiser is feeling mighty generous…

Financial Goals:

  1. $1,200 into savings
  2. $800 into retirement accounts
  3. $600 saved for Ireland trip
  4. $580 extra to mortgage
  5. $500 for crown molding projects
  6. $200 extra to student loans
  7. Limit variable spending to $500

Household Goals:

  1. Complete entryway decor project
  2. Crown molding in master bedroom, dining room & kitchen

Personal Goals:

  1. Keep up with tailbone/back PT
  2. Run when able to (hopefully within 2 weeks!)
  3. Continue building business project portfolio

What are your March goals?

  1. Sounds exactly like my life right now. March is a 3 paycheck month as well and we are also waiting for our appraisal to be approved for the refi. Cannot wait til that is over. If it finally goes through then March will be the awesomest month of the year for us. So my goal is to get the refi done, and file our taxes. Good luck on your monthly goals.

  2. Those look like some heavy duty goals… In March, I need to completely catch up on coursework. I've got several essays and presentations to do as well, so it will definitely be a busy month.

  3. Eek, paper-writing! I have a bit of that to do, too. Triple boo for procrastinating all the time but as much as I swear I'll change that habit, I always follow the same pattern. Good luck & have a great month!
