Happy Friday! As New England braces itself for the potential damages of winter storm Nemo, I can’t help but be excited about the potential to run through 2+ feet of snow. It may sound a bit crazy, but trust me when I say there’s no better thigh-burning workout than to run with “high knees” for 3-5 miles.
If you haven’t done so already, don’t miss your chance to win some cash! Enter now in either the $100 giveaway or the $500 (!!!) giveaway I’m part of.

Thanks for the links, I am in good company.
You certainly are, and you're welcome!
Thanks for the mention and yes, I do think it's a bit crazy to run in 2' of snow! lol. It does sound like it would be fun but how does your shoes/socks not get all wet?
You're welcome! It's a ton of fun–but yes, very wet feet & shoes. Eventually, they go numb and you can only feel the thighs burning anyway
Have fun in that snow f you get as much as they're predicting. I am just glad it's not headed our way as our city has no clue about how to appropriately handle a snowfall of any amount.
It's crazy out there already! I can't imagine what it will be like when we wake up tomorrow….
Thanks for the mention. I'm from Boston originally, but weekends like this make me glad to have moved to Los Angeles!

You're welcome!
Haha…LA is certainly in a completely different world right now! I can't see more than 2 feet in front of me–it's a blizzard already
Dear THHO,
How can we ski economically?
Snowbound
Hahhahahaha….
Glad to find this blog! Looks amazing, and great writing!
Thanks, Tony!
Hope you are able to keep warm. I hear the storm is going to be bad.
Thank you! It was insane and the aftermath is even worse. I'm looking forward to when the roads are actually plowed and we can park our cars again
Stay warm and safe! It appears you are going to get a bit more than 2ft! That would be some feat running in that! !
Thanks for the links. I like visiting new blogs!
My recent post An unexpected day off.
Thanks, Sharon! What a crazy, crazy weekend
