I’m not sure I should admit this, but I’m milking the ‘spring ahead’ loss of an hour…by being quite lazy today!

Finally pulling myself out of bed around 2 certainly set the tone for the day…haha (have you ever had one of those days when you wake up at a reasonable hour but just don’t feel like getting out of bed so then you proceed to read, talk or simply lie there daydreaming??).

Weekly Miscellaneous

This week was filled with vacation plans for my upcoming trip to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. I can’t believe I leave next week!! I’m looking forward to riding a camel for the first time and getting some 4×4 sand dune action in there somewhere. I’ll be posting more about the details and how I’m budgeting for the trip later this week.

This week was also a lot of fun because I was busy planning a fun weekend for my BF’s birthday. I wrote about some of the details on my Friday Link Love post, and I’m happy that everything went well and everyone had a great time. I can’t say that I did a great job in the budget department, but I managed to utilize a great TravelZoo voucher to save money on the the custom beer brewing session I got as part of his gift (I saved over $100 on the session!).

Some of the pics below are from the day–I had four of his close friends meet us for the surprise brewing session before we all headed to F1 racing in the afternoon. Now is the hard part as we have to wait for three weeks before we return to bottle (and drink!) all that tasty brew.
