Doing something purely for enjoyment can help to take your mind off work, especially if you’re feeling dissatisfied in your job. However, this infographic explains how you could be able to turn something you love into a business or job, and it doesn’t require too much thought or money – just a little bit of nous.
Business owners who go online to compare business gas & electricity with Make It Cheaper explain how they try to make every penny count, and when turning a hobby into a business, that is hugely important. Making the most of your skills is equally useful, while trying to market it as effectively as possible is vital if the business is to become viable.
While success isn’t instant, putting a little time into making your hobby your full-time job could be rewarding because not only will you be able to make money without being told what to do, you’ll also be enjoying what you do on a day-to-day basis.

I'm in the same boat–I absolutely love blogging and began with no intention of any money, growth, etc.
At the very least I'm turning my hobby (blogging) into a side job. That's a good start!

Yes, many have managed to convert their hobbies in to their career. I am not sure can you still get the same excitement after doing so? I think for sportsperson, it is generally true, playing is their hobby and profession.

Very interesting! I think it depends on the hobby, as you've suggested.
I haven't made a penny with my site that's over a year now as it is just a hobby and not a business and that's ok for now . Money does talk though… but not what my intentions were although I think I did mention something about making enough to pay for my beer… lol
